Agree with Cindy that this was more detailed and helpful than DNN's.

However, I've followed DNN instructions and I now have 'followed yours' as well but still getting this error connecting to the DB
Connection Error(s):
Index #: 0
Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider
Class: 14
Number: 18456
Message: Sql login failed
using sql login, my database name and DNN auto install (but did check on IIS and DB settings which seem consistent with your instructions). Have you seen this before Aderson?

Hi Hung,

Most likely the problem you are facing is with MSSql, not really DNN.

By knowing that some people have problems with DNN requirements, like IIS and MSSql set up, I have created two videos that will go through helping you out on MSSql and IIS setup. You can find them under “Requirements” section at www.dnnhero.com/Premium.aspx.

In your case you do need to check the one about MSSql. It might be that you may need to uninstall and reinstall MSSql to get it right.

I don’t want to keep pushing the premium membership but this is the type of benefit you would get with that. Plus if you still can’t work it out, I will help you through the premium forum as well - www.dnnhero.com/Forum.aspx

Cheers,
Aderson
