Aderson, thanks for the video! Shows just how easy it is to make changes to default DNN settings. Would be cool ifthis could be included in the host settings though, so anyone could make this type of change even if they're not comfortable with making edits to the web config.

One thing I'd mention is the importance of backing up any files, especially the web config file before you make any chnages to it, no matter how small, so you can roll back if you make a mistake.

Great work.

Kurt - Valeu pelo feedback - Espero que continue gostando.

Rick - You are very right on both comments. Great if we could have the HTML editor provider choice under host settings as DNN has for some many other providers. And yes, always do backups. I forgot to mention about backups just too often in the videos.

Re: How to switch the HTML editor from RAD to FCK in DotNetNuke - Video #52

Thank you for the video!
It helped me correct a problem I was having: Every time I would go to Edit I would get a Windows Logon popup saying the website requested a login.

By following your instructions I saw that the default editor somehow had been switched to FCK. By changing it back to RadEditor the problem went away. I assume that somehow the upgrade to 5.4.4 did not change web.config properly.

So if you switch to FCK, be aware you may get this.

Thanks!
Alex
