I have uploaded a logo (jpg) onto a DNN site via Admin | Site Settings | Appearance

If the logo is the "correct" size i.e. around 100 px tall then it appears blurry relative to the other content on the site when using a responsive skin for "retina" displays.

Ideally there would be two (or more) logos stored of x2 and x3 size depending on the users display type.

How can I implemented this so the logo looks sharp? I had a look for some tutorials on this but couldn't find anything that could point me in the right direction.

Hi Stephan,

I haven't had problems like that before, but I found this for you, which could be useful.

Can you share the link to the site with me so I can have a look as well? Hopefully I will be able to better advise you then.

Best regards,

Adersopn

Have a look at this site at http://web64.bay.studiocoast.com.au and compare to http://www.dnnsoftware.com

You can see that the DNN logo on the dnnsoftware.com is crystal clear. On a standard install it is not.

I have had a read through the post and bought the Retinafy.me book. It looks like the way to go is using svg files for things like the logo.

Do you have a tutorial on using svg's in DNN? At the moment I can insert them ok as a logo and HTML module but I can not control the sizing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Stephan,

We don't have a tutorial on that but I found this article for you which may help if you know how to work with CSS and skinning.

Best regards,

Aderson
