Hello,

I've created a DNN module which compiles in release mode generating the installation and source zip files.

But when I come to install it, I get an 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object.' error, please see details below. This occurs on clicking the Next button immediately after the zip file has been selected in the Extensions wizard.

Can anyone please offer any suggestions on the best approach to resolve this issue?

That's a good idea. Will install that module and check that reference as well.

One thing. I developed the module under the site 'http://dnndev.me'. But am now installing it under another site, which I'm using for staging called 'http://dnnstage.me/'. All the references in the project (start url, project url and override application url) refer to 'http://dnndev.me'. I assume that is correct? There's nothing i need to change to it will work on a site of any url?

Hi Aderson,

I was able to install the feedback module no problem.

I looked at the example, but it seems to be a problem after the module has installed, the screenshots show a module installed.

When you say a url problem, where can i check. Tried changing the project urls to dnnstage,.me but made no difference. Just trying to narrow things down.

The error occurs on clicking the Next button immediately after selecting the file.

Anything else I could check?
