Hi Aderson

I have a client's page with a listing of recordings (mp3s) and they want to have this indexed by itunes.  It seems like I should be able to submit the rss for the module to itunes but they reject it.  When I inspected the rss that the module puts out I don't see the link to the mp3 in the rss code so I think that's why it won't work.  My question, how do I set up a page on a DNN site with rss that will be acceptable to itunes?

Hi Chris,

The RSS feed from the HTML module has a very different format as compared to the one expected by itunes. So that will not work.

Your best bet is to get a podcast hosting provider where you can load the file and they will provide you with an RSS feed.

There are many hosting companies like that for instance Lidsyn is one that I have used in the past.

Besides that, if you want to self host your files, you will have to get a developer to code your own feed from the site as I'm not aware of a module that provides the itunes rss feed.
