Hi,

I have live site where i need to install a thrid party module directly on live for upgrade. This installation say takes 10 mins in-progress time. If i access the live site at this 10 mins time what will be the user experience? Meaing, will it show old module or error page?

Hi Karthik,

To reduce that amount of time I recommend you to use a different way to install modules on DNN.

This will reduce the upload time to close to zero.

Not sure what the page would look like though. You should assume it will not function. But with the approach I have recommended it will cut the install time.

Back in 2010 I have decided to focus my time and efforts on spreading the word about CMS platforms, DNN in particular .
