Hi Aderson,

Using the same method of determining the site url for images on my site, i.e.

string lUrl = Request.Url.Scheme + "://" + Request.Url.Host; 

Now I have another strange behaviour. One image is using https but I haven't installed SSL yet.

All the other images I've checked are using http.

It's not actually a problem as the image still displays. I plan to install SSL soon so I'll see what happens then.

Just strange behaviour to me.

Thank you for your reply.

I've checked the pages and they are not set to secure. 

Now I can see that https is being applied to other images on other pages.

The way my app works is that it will generate the content and save it to a file, that only happens when the save button is clicked. At that point the urls for images are determined.

That would explain why only some images have changed to use https. The main question is why would https be picked up when I don't have ssl installed?

Hi Aderson,

Just a quick update, I've applied SSL to the site which I was going to do anyway.

That hasn't worked (the browser still displays 'not secure') so I've posted a trouble ticket for the hosting company to deal with.
