To my relief I found the 'duplicate' page button.
For anyone who's interested, in the admin interface go to Pages. Then hover the 'ellipsis' button next to the current page highlighted in the page tree hierarchy.

I know you have sorted this out already but just for the record, move the mouse over the 3 dots next to the page you want to duplicate under "Content/Pages". Then you will find "Duplicate".
