Hello, my site is setup as private registration and

I really need to find out on where I can edit the automated email notification that is sent to the registered user once his account has been authorized or created by admin or host.

Right now here is how the email looks:

Dear john,

We are pleased to advise that you have been added as a Registered User to Point of Sale, Online POS Software, Web Based and iPad Point Of Sale. Please read the following information carefully and be sure to save this message in a safe location for future reference.

Portal Website Address: redtagpos.com
Username:

Thank you, we appreciate your support...

Point of Sale, Online POS Software, Web Based and iPad Point Of Sale

As you notice, the site title is being displayed
"Point of Sale, Online POS Software, Web Based and iPad Point Of Sale"
which I can easily change by editing my page title however it would no benefit for SEO

and I would like to add my company logo.
and if possible include the password that was created either by user or by admin or host

Please help.

Thanks, John.

Hi Aderson,

After posting this thread, I continued to search your site for videos which led me to find the exact video you sent me which helped me do exactly as I needed.

However, the only thing I was not able to setup in that same email notification is to also get his password.

If you notice it displays the username on that email notification but not the password.

How do I do that?

Hi John,

You can try using the password token [Membership:Password] but I believe that DNN no longer sends out passwords like this.

It sends out links to password reset page like this

http://[Portal:URL]/default.aspx?ctl=PasswordReset&resetToken=[Membership:PasswordResetToken]

But give it a try.

Cheers,

Aderson

Hi Aderson,

actually both tokens worked by itself and together in dnn 7.1.1

however, regarding the reset password token eventhou the link on the email sent me to the password reset page on my site,

it gave me an error message when i tried to enter the new password...the error message as follows:

"Failed to reset password - either the username/token combination is invalid, or the token has expired"

what could be causing this?

just to explain better on how im allowing my user to register,
i have a custom form in my registration page where the user fills the form and i review it.
once i decide to allow authorization, i ( host  or admin ) create a new user and choose random password and authorize the user.

this send the user an automated email ( the same email i made changes to )
showing the random password or the reset link ( in my page i have both tokens that you sent me )
