Hi Aderson

I'm wondering if there is a module that can be used with the Community version of DNN that adds approvals of content updates by roles to the workflow.  I believe this functionality is included in the pay versions of DNN but I'm hoping I can add it to the Community version.  Thanks.

Hi Chris,

Your best bet for this is to use a 3rd party content module like EasyDNNArticle, which has workflows.

There is no module out there that modifies the core behavior of DNN to create workflows like that (at least not that I'm aware).

This is Aderson Oliveira and I'm the Chief Editor of DNNHero. First why "DNNHero". If you think I'm just a self-indulgent individual, maybe you are right :). But this was not the case. This came from a good friend of mine, Carole Martin. So when I decided to start recording my learning adventures on DNN, I went to check if the domain "DNNHero.com" was available. It was, so here we are.

Back in 2010 I have decided to focus my time and efforts on spreading the word about CMS platforms, DNN in particular .
