Hi Aderson,

I was just watching your excellent videos on creating social groups:
http://www.dnnhero.com/Premium/Tutorial/tabid/259/ArticleID/86/5-How-to-create-social-groups-in-DotNetNuke-Part-1-4.aspx

One question though, can each group be assigned an administrator or do all groups have to be administered by the super user?

An idea for a video, how about something to list the features and limitations of the community social media offering?

Best Regards,

Steve

Hi Steve,

Under the Social Groups module, go to its settings and under the "Permissions" tab you will be able to assign users and or roles as "Group Moderator" or "Create Groups", which would allows uses to create their own groups.

In regards to your idea, I'm not sure what you mean by "the community social media offering".

Cheers,

Aderson

Hi Aderson,

Thank you for your reply/

Yes that does look a bit ambiguous. I mean the social media offering available in the DNN Community edition.

I think I got it Steve. In the meantime this page will give you what I think the community edition has to offer in terms of social features on DNN.

Cheers,

Aderson

Hi Aderson,

Thank you for your reply.

Yes I've seen most of the videos on that page. What I mean is something to summarise the capabilities and more importantly the limitations of the community edition's social media offering.

Best Regards,

Steve
