DotNetNuke Modules and Skins Review | May 24, 2012 - May 31, 2012

This week I was in between 1140 Grid Black from dnnskin.net and Corporate #42 Responsive Skin from speedyapplication.com in terms of skin. Both have great design geared towards darker/grey colors and mobile as well, but "1140 Grid Black" behaved faster when trying to run the site from a mobile device. "Corporate #42 Responsive Skin" was very slow when I tried scrolling the site. Kudos to dnnskin.net for the nice and mobile friendly skin. As a reminder, just 2 weeks ago the same company, dnnskin.net, had another skin making to the top of our list!

From the module side there were a few minor releases of great modules like Ultra Media Gallery and Dynamic Registration, but I have picked QR Code Encoder by Markit for its unique proposition of generating QR codes. Even though there are a few other modules that generate QR codes, but this one has more options and it's better presented in general with Demo and User Guide available right away.
